اهداف: امروزه مصرف مشتقات استروئیدی در بین ورزشکاران رواج یافته است، در حالی که مصرف این داروها با طیف گسترده‌ای از عوارض جانبی همراه است. ‌هدف این مطالعه، مقایسه اثرات مصرف استروئیدهای 17-آلفا آلکیلی و استروئیدهای 17-بتاهیدروکسی بر سطوح آنزیم‌های کبدی و فاکتورهای خونی ورزشکاران مرد رشته پرورش‌اندام بود.

مواد و روش‌ها: در این پژوهش علّی- مقایسه‌ای در سال 1393، 24 ورزشکار مرد رشته پرورش‌اندام ساکن شهر مشهد به‌صورت سرشماری وارد مطالعه شدند. این افراد در سه گروه هشت‌نفری‎‎؛ مصرف‌کنندگان استروئیدهای خوراکی (17-آلفا آلکیل)، مصرف‌کنندگان استروئیدهای تزریقی (17- بتاهیدروکسی) و ورزشکاران بدون سابقه مصرف استروئید قرار گرفتند. 48 ساعت پس از تمرین و در پی 12 ساعت ناشتایی، نمونه خونی داوطلبان برای سنجش آنزیم‌های کبد و فاکتورهای هماتولوژیک تهیه شد. داده‌ها توسط آزمون تحلیل واریانس یک‌طرفه در محیط SPSS 19 تحلیل شدند.

یافته‌ها: مقادیر آنزیم‌های ALT و AST در گروه اول نسبت به گروه دوم (032/0=p) و سوم (001/0=p) افزایش معنی‌دار داشت. میزان گلبول‌های قرمز در گروه دوم از گروه‌های اول و سوم و در گروه اول از گروه کنترل به‌طور معنی‌داری بیشتر بود (01/0=p). همچنین سطح هماتوکریت و هموگلوبین در گروه اول و دوم به‌طور معنی‌داری بیشتر از گروه سوم بود (01/0=p). مقادیر آلکالین‌فسفاتاز و سایر فاکتورهای خونی در هیچ یک از گروه‌ها تفاوت معنی‌داری نداشت.

نتیجه‌گیری: دو آنزیم کبدی AST و ALT صرفاً در اثر مصرف استروئیدهای خوراکی (17-آلفا آلکیل) افزایش می‌یابد، ولی افزایش اریتروسیت، هماتوکریت و هموگلوبین در اثر مصرف هر فرم از دارو قابل انتظار است.
